REFRESH YOUR ENERGY IN 2026

[Content vs Context]

Most business owners, founders, and execs I meet are highly competent and hardworking.

But too often, the grind of business, kids, and life leaves them stuck in a chronic state of overwhelm.

A big part of my work as a business coach...

Involves helping owners and founders get out of the everyday weeds of business content:

  • Rosters.

  • Facebook ads.

  • Insta hacks.

  • Staff shortages.

  • Price rises.

  • Dodgy landlords.

  • And the endless stream of “urgent” decisions.

And back into context.

The space where you step back and ask:

  • Why am I doing this in the first place?

  • What’s my purpose?

  • What’s the vision?

  • Is this the work I feel called to do?

  • What actually matters here?

When entrepreneurs first start out, they’re full of passion and purpose (context).

But over time…

The cumulative hardship, pressure, and disappointment slowly pull them down into a never-ending cycle of to-dos (content)...

Until one day, they wake up and can’t even remember why they started in the first place.

As another year draws to a close...

Most people feel exhausted, stressed, and overwhelmed.

The key to feeling refreshed and re-engaged in 2026 isn’t another tactic or productivity hack.

It’s about taking time to zoom out and reconnect with your why - your purpose, vision, and values.

This work isn’t easy (especially after years of ignoring it).

But once you reconnect with your context…

Something interesting happens:

  • Energy returns.

  • Clarity improves.

  • And the business content (the endless decisions, priorities, and trade-offs) starts to take care of itself.

I’ve helped dozens of owners, founders, and execs across Australia re-energise their businesses by re-engaging with context.

PS:

I don't use social media much (as I don't like its effect on my headspace).

So if you know someone who could benefit from this piece, I'd really appreciate it if you could forward it to them.

(As word of mouth is the primary way I get my work out there). Cheers!
